Tom Hall

I'm a qualified, trauma-informed facilitator with over six years’ experience working with young people in educational, creative, and therapeutic settings. My approach combines youth mentoring with narrative-based play, using Dungeons & Dragons as a framework for emotional connection and personal growth.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s Degree in Creative Writing – bringing rich, immersive storytelling to every session

  • DBS-checked & Safeguarding Trained – ensuring a safe, professional environment

  • Extensive work with neurodiverse and SEMH young people – in schools, community settings, and 1:1 mentoring

  • Co-founder of a therapeutic non-profit – supporting out-of-school youth with animal-assisted interventions

  • Experienced Dungeon Master – crafting stories that adapt to the emotional needs and creative spark of each player

My Approach
Whether guiding a small group of students through a structured school campaign or holding space for a young person in a 1:1 duet session, I focus on building trust, self-expression, and plain speaking. I believe in following the young person’s lead while offering structure and opportunities for reflection through gameplay.
