Empowering emotional growth through immersive storytelling
What Are Tabletop Roleplaying Games (TTRPGs)?
Tabletop roleplaying games, often shortened to TTRPGs, are collaborative storytelling games where a small group of players create characters and go on adventures together.
Rather than using a screen, everything happens through conversation, imagination, and simple game rules. Each player takes on the role of a character, and together the group explores a story — making decisions, solving problems, and responding to challenges as they arise.
A facilitator (sometimes called a Game Master) guides the session, describing the world and what happens next. The players then decide how their characters respond. For example, they might choose to talk their way out of a problem, work together to solve a puzzle, or take action in a more adventurous situation.
Some people may have heard of games like Dungeons & Dragons, but sessions here use simplified and flexible systems designed to be easy to learn and accessible for all experience levels.
There is no need for previous experience. The focus is not on rules or “winning”, but on working together, using imagination, and building confidence through shared stories.
The Idea
Storytelling for Social & Emotional Growth
We use the power of TTRPGs to help young people, aged 10 and up, explore emotions, build confidence, and develop vital social skills.
Through imaginative adventures—guided by a trained facilitator with experience in youth work and creative therapy—players take on heroic roles, make meaningful choices, and connect with others in a safe, structured environment.
Whether in small school-based groups, 1:1 “duet” mentoring sessions or groups, our approach blends fun, creativity, and therapeutic intent to support young minds as they grow.
